Ameritus® Safety Oral Feeding Tube

The Ameritus Safety Oral Feeding Tubes have been designed to provide optimum patient safety, from low birth weight babies to pediatrics patients, while improving the standard of care and ease of use for clinicians. The connection on the feeding tube is specifically designed to help prevent dangerous misconnections to IV lines and luer syringes. The oral hub is compatible with standard oral tip syringes and enteral only extension sets. Orange color coding provides easy visual access recognition of the enteral connection. French size, length, and lot number clearly printed on the feeding tube and centimeter markings are printed every centimeter.

Unique, open-ended, rounded distal tip with one large eyelet 5.5 mm from the distal tip for optimal flow. Ribbed proximal plug for connector to ensure a sealed, secure closure unlike a cap closure that may trap bacteria and fatigue with repeated use. Feeding tubes come in long-term-use medical-grade polyurethane. Feeding tubes come in a large array of French sizes from 4 Fr to 12 Fr and lengths from 40 cm to 110 cm. Feeding tubes are individually packaged, DEHP/Latex/BPA free and sterile.
