Ameritus® ENFit Feeding Tube

The Ameritus ENFit feeding tubes come in a full complement of polyurethane nasogastric feeding tubes for the micro-preemie to the pediatric patient with french sizes of 4 to 10 and lengths of 40cm to 110cm. Features continued from our legacy line of Oral Safety feeding tubes to include feeding tube identification including french size, length, and lot number printed on tube. Another significant and clinically preferred feature of our feeding tube is the open-ended distal tip which promotes greater fluid flow, effective flushing, and minimizes pockets of fluid build-up.

A second large distal lateral hole placed only 5.5 mm from the distal open-ended tip reduced the risk of high feeds in the esophageal tract-significant for LBWB. Ameritus offers ENFit feeding tubes with dual and single proximal connector hubs to fit clinical needs, particularly for the pediatric patient with continuous feeding regimens. The dual or lateral access port is configured with an administration port and medication port designed to eliminate disconnection when administering medications/fluids. All our enteral feeding products are orange in color to provide easy visual recognition and continuity of feeding tubes, extension sets, and syringes. All Ameritus enteral products for the NICU and Pediatrics are sterile, single packed, BPA/Latex/DEHP free.
